Corporate Application: Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test

An employee is an asset for an organization.

Growth of the employees plays an important role in the retention of the manpower, and pays to the growth of the organization as well.

Matching the skills required for a project/role and the personality type is always a big challenge for the management. It is always a risk of double loss by giving promotion to an existing employee; loss of a performer in the previous role, and loss of a manager in a new role, if, the personality type does not suit to the new role.

Most of the organizations follow the process of internal assessment for promotions, even then the risk prevails.

Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test ((DMIT) can be of great help to reduce this risk of mis-match. This scientific technique could not only help in selection of the employees but also finding the needs of training and learning patterns.

Dermatoglyphics is the term coined by Dr. Harold Cummins, the father of American fingerprint analysis.
DMIT is the scientific study of the finger prints. It is developed between 13th week to 21st week of pregnancy and remain unchanged throughout life. The study of dermatoglyphics started to understand the genetic defects of the human beings. The study of finger prints (dermatoglyphics) traces back to 1628 A.D. by Marcello Malphigi in Italy.

DMIT got a boost when Dr. Harward Gardner published his research in the book "Frames of Mind" in 1983, which talked about the EIGHT TYPES OF MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES;
1. Verbal Linguistic Intelligence
2. Visual Spatial Intelligence
3. Inter-personal Intelligence
4. Intra-personal Intelligence
5 Logical Mathematical Intelligence
6. Naturalistic Intelligence
7. Musical Intelligence
8. Bodily Kinaesthetic Intelligence

We have all the above intelligence but, few of them are dominant thus governing our personality type.

DMIT profile also discusses about the 'DISC Personality Type' of the person which takes the study in detail about the personality traits, strength and areas of improvement. The interaction between the different personality types is also dealt in detail.

RIASEC theory helps to find the traits of the person, be it the leadership qualities or the qualities of a team player. Is the person a Realistic thinker or having Investigative bend of mind?

LOBE activity of brain talks about the response and qualities of the person in certain situation. The strengths, a person will exhibit and the areas where he needs to work upon.

IQ and EQ are widely known. AQ (Adversity Quotient) which tells about the mental reaction to the high pressure situations while CQ (Creative Quotient) defines the creativity thus innovative ideas, and ability to think out of box.

VAK theory talks about the learning pattern of an employee; Visual, Audio or Kinaesthetic learner. An useful tool to device the training programs for the set of employees.

Multiple Intelligence defines the type of dominant intelligences and thus the suitable roles.

An organization can use DMIT for different needs; selection of the team for a project, training need analysis, personality profile of the employees which can be used in behavioural counselling.

DMIT is done by scanning the fingerprints of the person and generating a life time profile.
DMIT is itself a comprehensive report and thus needs counsellor to interpret it in context to the objective of the test.

In recent past, the same has been talked in terms of the career and behavioural counselling of the children but, professional approach to the same is missing and the level of awareness about DMIT is almost nil in India.

FACT: We choose everything

Note: This article is based on writer's self experience as the 'past life therapist and astro- counsellor  ', and on the work done on past lives by others.   This article does not challenge somebody's faith and beliefs  about the human incarnation. In my practice as a past life therapist and astro consultant, I come across a very common question from my clients, that is, 'why does it all happen to them? Why is there so much of misery?' And many more such questions. I am amused with a fact that somebody never asks about the reason of happiness they are getting in life. I try to answer these questions to them, and at the same time, I know, they are seldom agreeing with certain facts which I revealed. These consciously unknown facts, are in the centre of this article. As a soul, we are unconditional love or in Hindi we say 'satvik'. In our journey of evolution as a soul we choose the human body to experience the physical realm...

Forgiveness: Forgiving self and others

The biggest problem of our life" Understanding forgiveness...forgiving self...forgiving others". Forgiveness is one deep thought which has access to the unlimited peace which is eternal in nature. To forgive others from the core of the heart is difficult as we have the resentments against that person and want the same happening to that person. We forget that the thought of resentments, revenge etc are burdens on our soul which we carry birth after birth and punish ourselves. At the same time, it is more difficult to understand that this has roots in our forgiveness for ourselves. We have lot of resentments against ourselves. We have thoughts to punish ourselves and keep punishing. Example: If we are addict to something in life, it is a sort of punishment we impose on ourselves for not forgiving ourselves for the deeds we committed in our past lives. We punish our being, our physical body and thus the emotional plane...creating more karma. So, in or...
